We hope you enjoy visiting our web site and seeing the dogs that we have produced both in the past and in the present. We enjoy all of our dogs and interact with them daily. We breed only dogs that are good healthy dogs. We try to evaluate each breed for the health problems that occur in that breed before we breed them.

Our Berners have both hips and elbows x-rayed and submitted to OFA for evaluations. We have done the vWD genetic test on all our breeding dogs and know the status of all. We have tested all their eyes with board certified ophthalmologist and have most of them registered with CERF. Once our females reach a certain age (5 years) they are not done as often since most of the eye problems we are checking for begin before that age. Our stud dogs are checked yearly if they are still in a breeding program.

All of our Irish Setters are x-rayed and registered with OFA before any breeding is done. Since we test bred our dogs years ago, our dogs all come from genetically clear stock in regard to PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy). We have also done blood tests from Optigen to verify most of the test breedings that were done. The setters we breed are good healthy dogs with lovely coats and a dark mahogany color.

Announcement: Vegas is Pregnant and due Feb. 19, 2010. Pups will be ready to go mid April. Vegas, a daughter of our Santera Earl of Keenan (ptd) and our Santera Charmin' Kismet (14 pts. -1 major). The sire is a young male with a lovely temperament who is being shown now. He has most of his single points and is waiting for his majors.  Please contact us if you are interested.

Our Tibetan Spaniels have proved to be very healthy and exhibited longevity in the bloodlines we have bred. Our first Tibbie lived to be 15.5 years. Both her daughters that were here also had long lives. They were both 16 when they died. The next Tibbie that we lost was a grandson of our first and he was 15 when he died. We have always had all the Tibbies’eyes checked by qualified board certified ophthalmologist to verify that they have no eye problems.
